My last wedding of 2009 took me to Creaton in Northamptonshire in December. Kristine and Carl were married at St Micheal’s Church with their reception at Highgate House. The atmosphere surrounding the wedding was magical and this winter wedding was made all the more spectacular by the fresh covering of snow that fell the night before.

The lack of daylight proved to be a challenge, as was the snow falling on our arrival and departure from the church. Having said that I managed to use the ambient light available in all but a couple of the images that I made and we were rewarded with some fantastic late afternoon sun back at Highgate House.

Kristine and Carl were a joy to work with and it was a pleasure to be involved in their special day.
