Sophie & Shaun...pre-wedding shoot {Northampton Wedding Photography}

I'm photographing Sophie & Shaun's wedding later this month at Highgate House and we caught up with each other last month for their pre-wedding shoot.

I've worked with many brides (and some grooms!) who don't like seeing themselves in a picture, more often than not it's how they perceive themselves in an image, and often this is difficult to overcome.

Thankfully Sophie was surprised with the results of our time together and is now a little more relaxed about her wedding day images.

A few from our time together.

Hannah & Jack...Married {St Mary & All Saints Church, Fotheringhay}

I first met up with Hannah & Jack to talk about their wedding plans at The Falcon Inn, in the village of Fotheringhay back in chilly January.

They were planning their wedding ceremony in the simply magnificent Church of St Mary and All Saints in Fotheringhay, followed by a reception at The Falcon Inn.

I knew within minutes of meeting them and hearing their plans that I wanted to share their wedding day with them and happily they chose me to document their day.

We met up in again at the beginning of July at Burghley House in Stamford for their pre-wedding shoot.

Come the wedding day we were blessed with glorious weather and Hannah & Jack just let me get on and photograph their day.

I thoroughly enjoyed sharing Hannah & Jack's wedding day with them, clearly two people who are very much in love with each other.....

After seeing their images I received a lovely message from Hannah & Jack that read.... "Wow, just spent 4 hours looking at our pictures and really thrilled! Thanks so much Scott, you've made our wedding. Thanks Scott"

Sarah & Matt...Married {The Crazy Bear, Stadhampton}

Sarah and Matt were married a couple of weeks ago on a beautiful sunny Saturday at The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton.

I've known Sarah for some time having worked together on a number of corporate events and was delighted when she asked me to photograph her wedding day. Unusually for me, the first time I met Matt was on the morning of the wedding.

I spent the morning with Sarah, her daughter Olivia and her bridesmaids capturing the bridal preparations in the Log Cabin at The Crazy Bear before they moved up to Sarah and Matt's room. At this point the nerves were starting to show a little and I left them to finish off their preparations on their own.

It was a lovely intimate wedding with around 30 guests attending the ceremony and the following meal and it was a pleasure to share Sarah and Matt's wedding day with them.

As usual a small selection below from the final set of images. Click on a thumbnail for a larger view….

Silverstone Classic 2014 in pictures....

It was my first time at the Silverstone Classic this year, and what a fantastic event to attend if you enjoy seeing historic racing cars used as they were designed to be used......racing!

To be honest the Silverstone Circuit isn't the most photogenic for this type of event and despite having photographer's accreditation (which got me closer to the track action) I decided to concentrate on the competitors and the 'details' of the event that make it so special.

Here are a few images from my time at the Silverstone Classic and a full gallery of my images can be seen here.

Enjoy........

Hannah & Jack...pre-wedding shoot {Northampton Wedding Photography}

Hannah & Jack get married in late August at The Church of St Mary and All Saints, Fotheringhay, with their reception following at The Falcon Inn in Fortheringhay.

Having postponed our original shoot date due to the weather we met up at the weekend for their pre-wedding shoot in the stunning grounds of Burghley House in Stamford.

We spent a couple of hours together and it was lovely to share that time with them and watch them start to relax in front of the camera, and really start to enjoy being in front of the camera.

They're a lovely couple and I'm really looking forward to sharing their wedding day with them.
